Top 10 Favorite Makeup Products in Philippines (Budget-friendly)

Hi! For this post, I will be showing you my Top 10 Favorite Makeup Products here in the Philippines. Most of the products that I will be showing are under P200, Let's Start!

1. San San Cream Concealer (P145?)

San San Cosmetics is definitely one of my Top 5 favorite makeup products here in the Philippines, not only their makeup are affordable but their products are really safe in skin.

I highly recommend all of their face products like their HD Liquid foundation and even their pressed powder worked great too! One of my favorite is this concealer. It has a medium to full coverage.

But, even though it has a superb coverage, it doesn't look cakey on your face and it very lightweight!

2. San San Lipliner in Nude Brown and Red (P60)

Some of you guys are telling me that I'm being too bias here, haha. Next is this San San lip liner in Nude Brown and Red.

They also have the pink shade but, I'm not really into that shade so I did not conclude that. Anyway, this lip liner is so affordable yet good quality.

Honestly, I haven't tried the Ever Bilena lip liner or even the Nichido (do they have one?) but so far, this lip liner is one of the best I ever tried.

3. Kiss Beauty Highligter in 01 (P89)

Well, this brand need some little highlight. I know, it's not "too" safe for your skin because Chinese makeup products have dangerous chemicals but meh, I love this product a lot.

Unfortunately, I don't see any filipina makeup brand make a highlighter. But I tell you guys, this one is perfect for that glow goals that you want.

They also have variety of shade but 01 is my favorite and perfect for every makeup look.

4. San San Single Eyeshadow in Warm Copper Fire and Deep Earth Brown (P65)

Oh god, this product is over rated and a lot of beauty bloggers and gurus recommend this eyeshadow.

If your one of my subscriber in my Youtube videos, you'll notice how much I love this single eyeshadow! I feel like in every makeup tutorial I make, it should feature either these two shades.

They're not only good for shading your crease but they also work as contouring powder and even eyebrow powder!

5. Ever Bilena Matte Lipsticks in Glam Red and Mauvey (P165)

Ever Bilena is one of the most famous brand here in the Philippines and I must say that their lipsticks are the best!

They make a good quality yet affordable lipstick that everyone should have!

I really want to have more lipsticks from them especially their new release liquid lipsticks!

6. Bench Prettywhenpinched Cheek and Lip Tint in Red (?)

I'm a big fan of cheek and lip tints! Even my friends are obsessed with it! It gives you a perfect tint for everyday and as a highschool student, you don't want a "noticeable" makeup right? (well, unless you want to be a clown)

This one is great! It actually reminds me of Benefit Benetint because it also comes with a "nail polish" inspired container. The only con for this product is I don't find it "Travel-friendly" because the glass might broke or whatsoever.

Not good for cheeks because it dries pretty fast and leaves you a mark. Overall, I do like this lip tint.

7. LOL Brow Pencil in 01 Blonde (P99)

I'm looking for a brow pencil that are not too waxy and not too orange for my skintone and this product is the answer!

Though, I'm not blonde enough to use this but it works fine to me. Unlike those regular pencils that has an orange undertone (which I don't prefer) I like this because it has a gray undertone.

What I also like about this brow pencil is that it is also easy to blend but it doesn't have that thick consistency.

8. Allue Blush in Peach Pie (?)

Allue is really safe for teenagers like me! At first, I don't see their products "convincing" to use because I thought their products are only for kids. But hey, this blush is nice!

It actually not your typical blush but it also gives you some little highlight and tiny glitters that I super love. (If you're into mattes, this one is not for you.)

I also has  great packaging which reminds me of Japanese products. I just don't like the chalkiness of this but it's a nice product to try out.

9. HBC False Lashes (P20)

Finding affordable, natural looking (I need some natural ones that those dramatic ones because I have small eyes) is really hard to find. Good thing, HBC have these babies! I feel like I wore them thousand times because they suit in every makeup look that I make.

10. Bench Daily Spell in Natural (P20)

Finally is this Bench Daily Spell Magic Powder. My explanation for this is a little long because I want you guys, to appreciate this product a lot! The first blogger that I watch that use this is makeupbykarlamisa in her P250 Makeup Challenge and I must say, Holy! Thank you so much that I watch her video. This powder changes EVERYTHING. I try to use different makeup powders for my baking but this one is the best! Not only it's good for baking but it's also great in setting your powder and it's SUPER lightweight like you don't wear anything on your face. I promise! I though this product will be a little pricey because it's from a popular brand but no! It's only 20 pesos! Definitely worth trying!

So that's that! Hope you learn something from this post and this is just my suggestion and my own opinion. Thank you for reading! Love you!

My Skin Irritation Story

Hi! I would like to share my skin irritation story. I want you guys to learn a lesson because damn it. This is not everyone's dream.

When this thing happen to me? May 20 2015, Wednesday.

Why? In my conclusion, I think it's because of my allergic (kuno) reaction from cheese sticks. But no, it's not. It actually from a facial mask that I used. I don't think it because the brand that I used. It's actually cheap facial mask that I bought and probably all of you are suspecting that it's a fake facial mask but no. I put the mask on my entire face and I read the instructions that you should remove the mask after 10- 15 minutes. Being a thrifty person, I don't want to throw a wet mask. Girl, I will not throw it unless it's fully dry.. that's what I thought. So, I put the mask for I don't know. 1 hour or so? Just when the face feels completely dry.

Honestly, I feel just.. nothing. I don't feel any itchy or irritation.

But then I woke up..

Day 1

May 20, 2015- Wednesday

Redness on my cheek area

On the side of my lips. Some redness on the other cheeks.

I feel so down that I don't want anyone to see my face. My mom actually blame me for putting too much makeup but I tell her that I don't wear makeup in a daily basis. I just take photos and quickly remove it. I promise.

Day 2

May 21, 2015- Thursday

Morning

After taking a bath

Good thing, all the redness are gone but you can still see some acne marks.

Day 3

May 22, 2015- Friday

Morning

Yay! It pretty.. a little.. nah, I still have those marks. But I'm really happy (see those smiles, huh?) that it became much better.

After taking a bath

Note: This is also the time when I put makeup for "filming" reason. So, It makes my skin a little worse.

I'm really nervous while putting makeup because I feel like it will became worse and yes, it is.

Day 4

May 23, 2015- Saturday

The redness show again because of what I did.

And dry patches are showing up. Even though, I don't even go outside.

Day 5

May 24, 2015- Sunday

I finally change my facial wash. I'm using the Pond's Acne Clear Facial Wash + Scrub, my cousin told me that it can be too harsh. I have dry skin and scrubbing my face every single day will make it worse.

So I try the Pond's Clear Solution Facial Scrub, I only use it when I wear makeup but I use Pond's Perfect Care Facial wash which is very delicate and definitely not scratching my face.

Day 13

June 1, 2015- Monday

This is my face like RIGHT NOW. Cheers for better skin!

I'm really thankful because all my acne are healed. Yes, I learned a lot. Don't leave your facial mask toooooooo long.

I hope all of you learned from my "little" experience. And oh, I went outside two times while I have this face. Definitely a pressure because I'm really afraid that someone will tease me. But my advice is to just be confident on what you have and who you are. You're beautiful. But still, you need to learn to love you skin just like loving yourself too.

Thank you for reading and enjoy your look.

Makeup Collection 2015

Hello! I feel so tired with my "typical" makeup inspirations posts here.

How I wish I can film a makeup collection video for you guys, unfortunately, my cam's mic is not working well. So, why not just share it through pictures, right? I also have an old post last 2011/12. I will upload that throwback post SOON.

Yaaas, a little "disclaimer" below.

--

Taaaadaa! Here is my vanity! The table is from SM Supermarket. It used to be my study table for school but, it's summer! I transformed it as my vanity area.

I have a little container thingy that I got yesterday form Unitop. I just put there my sleeping mask, scissors, chargers etc.

Moving on, here is where my collection starts. Alcohol at the back, a storage for my combs, water bottles.  Oh, Michelle Phan's book for inspiration (Damn, I love her so much.) Argan oil and a Hatsune Miku figure here.

I have a makeup storage here. I just put there my San San Single Eyeshadows, velcro, my favorite lipstick such as Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick, Avon, Revlon, San San and two Mac.

And next to that drawer,  I have my hair gel, mini sample of my favorite perfume, cheek and lip tint from Bench and another acrylic lipstick storage which consists of all my LOL (Lots of Love) Lipsticks (I love those, but I'm not really a fan of the smell.), eyebrow rasors, tweezers and an eyelash glue!

For the first layer of the pink drawer, It's full of my "not so used" lipsticks. But I never know, maybe, I can use them for different looks. There are variety and really mixed brands and shades.

In this little container, I have my depoted/ DIY lipstick that I put on a Garnier container, my 4 Garnier container and a Monaliza lippie there.

Oh, this is a new one! Will do a haul after this post! Yey!

Second drawer is more lip products

My 3 Miss Romantic XXL Lip gloss. Love those too!

My DIY Lip Balm, Lip pencils and cheap small lipstick at the back.

And at the very back of this drawer is all of my lipgloss, I'm not a lipgloss person. But now, I feel like they are really important in plumping your lips!

Some from Dolz and Hongyan from my bestfriends. And a little CP Trendies lipgloss there!

My depoted and DIY Lipglosses and a my cutie cupcake lipglosses!

And the final drawer is all of my eyeshadows. Singles, duos, trios, quads, palettes. All of them are here.

My DIY Eyeshadow Palette here.

I will not go through every single one of this. But mostly the expensive ones are just given to me and most all of there are just the cheap but still good quality that I got from Unitop and other cheap stores.

On the left side. Agghhh, I really hate this drawer. It's a mess, I know.

And at the very bottom is just my books, lights, and random magazines.

FINALLY!

We are finished. Well, first things first, thank you for reading until the end. It's kinda crazy for a 14 year old to have this collection. I don't wear makeup in a daily basis. I just don't feel myself wearing them. But.. it's my passion. I feel happy whenever I play with my toys. I collect them since 2011 and I'm happy I still collect them. Some of them are just gifts from my mom, ninangs, auntie and cousins. I actually save money from my baon so I can buy what I love.

Enjoy your look.
